Potter Plant Hire continues to lead by example in prioritising safety and innovation. Mike Nash of Xwatch Safety Solutions recently conducted 'train the trainer' sessions at Potter Plant Hire, ensuring their team can deliver ongoing safety training confidently. Alongside this, Xwatch engineer Adam Guilfoyle is currently installing the first batch of five XW5 systems (on CAT 308 machines), marking the start of an ambitious rollout. Looking ahead to 2025, Potter Plant Hire has committed to adding another 20 Xwatch systems to their fleet.
The XW5 system offers a total safe working envelope around the machine and operator, enabling precise control of the machine's height, slew, and rated capacity indication. This comprehensive solution is designed to cover every eventuality, ensuring the safety of both operators and machinery, whether on-site or out on hire. By integrating advanced safety technology, the XW5 provides peace of mind for operators, site managers, and clients alike, all while enhancing productivity.
