The Simple Safe Two is designed to provide both warning and protection for a variety of mobile plant where over-turning can occur. SS2 uses a compact controller coupled with a three axis platform angle sensor. SS2 is designed to be robust, reliable and cost effective. It supports optional telematics and an optional secondary sensor for articulated equipment.

Roll Over Monitor
In its standard guise, maximum roll angle can be set from 1 to 32 degrees (0- 63%). An audible alarm sounds when the maximum tilt has been exceeded. Intelligent filtering is used to separate actual machine tilt from bouncing and vibration. In the unfortunate event of a roll-over SS2 will send a signal that can be used to cut the engine, and/or activate a siren or beacon.
Angle Data
The control module samples angle data 250 times a second providing precise monitoring. All components are IP67 and are covered by a one year warranty. Components are supplied by a leading edge German manufacturer with a 50 year track record in industrial control. Reliability and longevity are key. Installation can be achieved by any competent plant fitter. No calibration is required. There are no moving parts. Bar occasional visual inspection, the system is maintenance free.
SS2 is designed to be robust, reliable, and cost effective, and as such cannot provide data logging. If data logging is required, SS2 supports optional telematics.
